Ticket Changes Part 1
With the cancellation of the Oral Bible Translation course here in Kailua-Kona and the approval of our visas last week, today I began the process of changing the tickets we had set for the end of June to get to Papua New Guinea (PNG) earlier.
I’m glad to report that Hawaiian Airlines showed me great kindness and transferred our free June tickets to being able to leave on the first two legs of our journey (to PNG) on Monday coming (5th May).
As I requested a stopover in the island of Oahu they kindly changed my connecting flight for a separate ticket from Honolulu to Sydney (in Australia) and did so free of charge. We only had to pay $10 each for extra tax needed for the change for adding the connection as a separate, later itinerary.
If you are blinded by the science of the last paragraph, essentially we just got two tickets from Hawai’i all the way to Sydney for a grand total of $20! A true answer to my prayers from this morning.
Praise the LORD!
