Remote Realities
When I began this 270 Day Journey blog near the beginning of this year I had hoped to be writing pretty much daily or every second day. If the truth be known, since being in PNG and even in recent weeks since leaving there, I have found often being in remote locations, or, more specifically, being offline so often, has stymied my good intentions.
There have been many outstanding moments in the past few months (of mostly silence), and now I have so much to share that I hardly know where to begin.
So …
From now until I get home (18th December p.m., DV) I hope to blog daily and will do the odd flashback post from something I want to tell you about that was untold due to my Internet famine!
One thing I have seen on this trip is that the LORD has been incredibly faithful in helping me continue to find amazing deals on flights (32 flights booked, out of 38 total, have been free using only points and miles, with good deals with those too).
And, when I made a mistake in telling YWAM (Youth With A Mission) Brisbane that I would be leaving tomorrow (9th December) instead of 10th (my original plan), I felt like the LORD would have me leave on 9th anyway. Yesterday, as I prayed about where to go, a notification came on my phone that eventually led me to a fabulous discount on a local hotel near the airport, which also includes a 35% refund on what I spent to make the reservation, and due to be paid 45 days after my stay!
Now I am really curious as to what the LORD might have in store for me in sending me to that lodging tomorrow …
