What’s in the Well?

Leading on from the thoughts about wells and water, I had a marvellous meditation just thinking about a certain Bible verse that kept me buzzing throughout last week and over the weekend.

Having discussed the salvation God has bought for us, Isaiah goes on to state in one verse just what we can draw upon in that salvation. He likens it to a well:

“Therefore with joy will you draw water from the wells of salvation.”  ~ Isa. xii 3

Get your head round this a moment … What exactly is inside that well from which the believer may draw up for his use and need?

This is stunning!

Not only sins forgiven (which is huge!), but deliverance, answered prayer, His presence, glory, healing and health, financial and other provision. The list goes on.

I encourage you to slow down and contemplate today (and this week) just what it is that Jesus has supplied for you by His death on the cross! Draw with JOY!
