Time to Head Back
It’s time to head back to Ireland.
It’s been a wonderful couple of weeks celebrating the nonagenarian in the family, who birthday was just after we arrived in the Dominican Republic.
It was great having our two youngest daughters here for the first week of the trip so they too could celebrate with us all here among the Dominican family.
When our daughters left we had a delightful time on the north coast, with the female siblings in the family, relaxing with their mum who kept up with the activities and trips so well.
There were some lovely points of ministry, personally with different family members and new friends, including while speaking in my old church, the one I attended when I lived here in the late ‘80s.
We’ll miss the great weather and beaches, but it’s time to head home today and get ready for the next family celebration—a 70th birthday this time—in Scotland next week.
We continue to press On with what the LORD has called this year: The Year of the Family.
Meanwhile, a rather gruelling trip home starts today, and our home base should be reached by late tomorrow night.
