Nearly There 😎
It was a delightful time on Sunday meeting with our team mates on the Cambodia team.
Firstly there was a lovely morning service, during which the team members present were introduced to the church family in Lisburn.
We were then royally hosted to a slap-up meal of tons of food and drinks—all part of a church fundraiser for the mission trip to Phnom Penh, and lovingly prepared by many.
For more than two hours the team of (now) twenty-three people gathered for our first ever full team meeting and for an orientation and induction time, listening to one young woman who has spent several years working with the ministries we are to serve out there next month and getting final logistics sorted with the church pastor, who is to lead the trip.
This week, so far, everyone has been working on getting their Cambodian visas approved and making other personal arrangements for the trip away, while members of the team, and folk supporting from the church, are also meeting nightly for prayer and fasting through this week.
All very exciting now as we finalise the preparations and get ready for all the LORD has for us to do in February on the other side of the world in Cambodia.
