Belated Valentine 😳

A little late to the table, but some enduring thoughts came to mind as my dear wife and I were celebrating 30 years since our engagement on 14th February.

We’ve been enjoying a number of readings about marriage in our daily Bible plan. One thought that stood out recently was from a passage that was actually not directly focussed on marriage:

Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; Romans 12:10

The idea centred round honouring one another.

What would it be like if we were to observe this simple command in our marriages to prefer one another in honour ? How would that affect the marriage relationship?
