What is This Trip All About?

Maybe you are wondering what this trip is all about?

Is this some kind of retirees’ global tour?

Well … no.

We will explain a little over the coming days.

To begin with, we first heard about a groundbreaking project going on in Papua New Guinea while visiting Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in the Dominican Republic about a year ago.

The moment the YWAM leader mentioned the pioneer work being undertaken something ignited in my heart and we began seeking the LORD as to whether this would be the first major project with our new organisation (Declare International)?

Meeting with other YWAM friends on that trip in the spring of 2024, and later chatting online with another “old” friend from my ship days in 1986, who just happens to be heading up the whole project, we knew this was ‘the next thing’ in our nations call.

Tomorrow, God willing, I will tell you more, but, in the meantime this video clip will give you a little insight into the people and place we hope to be serving this year.
