One Week to Go

It’s been a bit of a long road this year for us, as well as for many..

It was back in early March. “The virus” was settling down on much of the planet, including in Monterrey (Mexico), where we were living at the time. I was diagnosed with melanoma in the left leg. Within a short space of time I was on my way to the Hope4Cancer clinic in southern Mexico and was there for three weeks receiving over two hundred treatments and therapies during my visit.

I was sent home then for a three-month home treatment plan and subsequently visited the Cancun clinic again for a follow-up visit, receiving good reports on my overall progress.

Three more months home treatment has followed that visit, and also some intensive dental work, to rectify immune system-distracting mouth issues, including removing toxins, like mercury, from my teeth.

Now, a week from today, it is time to head back for my 6 month checkup and I am hoping and praying for a report of “NED” (No Evidence of Disease). The melanoma has retreated visibly down to a small scab, which is encouraging. The doctor is convinced it will soon fall off.

[A little report for those who asked!]
